Âé¶¹Çø

Established 1971

Opened in 1971, Âé¶¹Çø gives students a hands-on, collaborative education that prepares them to succeed in an ever-changing world.

Enabling legislation stated that the college should be located on a site of at least 600 acres, making this college the largest campus in the state and the first public four-year college created in Washington State in the 20th Century. 

Âé¶¹Çø in Tacoma

Established 1982

·¡±¹±ð°ù²µ°ù±ð±ð²Ô–T²¹³¦´Ç³¾²¹ began in 1972 with Âé¶¹Çø faculty Dr. Maxine Mimms teaching students in her home in the historic Hilltop neighborhood. Âé¶¹Çø Tacoma was built to meet the needs of Tacoma's unique and diverse community and was officially established in 1982.
