The purpose of this program is to offer exploratory studies for students seeking to work and pursue more advanced studies in the following fields: Community Studies, Environmental Studies, Public Health, Government, Law and Public Policy, Sociology, Cultural and Media Studies, and Early Childhood Education.ÌýBy focusing on citizenship from local, national, and global perspectives, we will engage students in studies that recognize the interconnectedness of people from diverse culturesÌýand countries. We aim to understand how decisions made in one part of the world can impact people elsewhere and actively contribute to a better world beyond national borders. This includes fostering awareness, appreciation, and respect for diverse cultures and perspectives. The goal is to enhance students' abilities to respond to and promote positive change on both personal and institutional levels.ÌýStudents will utilize investigate successful models of change to extrapolate how such models might be useful but also might be limited in their capacity to address future possibilities, and to propose proactive community-based interventions tailored to specific community concerns.Ìý
