I bring experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Substance Use Disorder Professional, and longtime community educator. My research and praxis focus on trauma-informed care, disability justice, and abolitionist approaches to mental health and education. Teaching Style
I teach from a foundation of collective responsibility, honoring the communities and ecosystems my students both come from and contribute to. My pedagogy emphasizes growth over performance, inviting students to reflect critically, track their inner reactions, and engage as both learners and practitioners of knowledge. My teaching encourages students to examine systems and to pursue the conditions that might get us all free.
